    Question iPod Classic 80GB - can you drop your volume to 0?
    Hiya,

    Sorry for the title - let me explain...

    I was listening my new iPod earlier today and instead of pausing the iPod when my phone rang I just dropped the volume to 0 - now I'm fairly sure on my old iPod this acually silenced the iPod - on this one I still hear music with perfect clarity.

    Is this just my iPod or does anyone else have this?

    Certainly not a big issue - I've always got the Pause option for complete silence

    I'm pretty sure my iPod nano (1st gen) is silent when the volume is right down.

    My iPod 30GB 5.5G is silent when its turned all the way down.
