iPod Problems

Ok, I know where there is an iPod for sale really cheap... battery in good condition and scratch free because it has been used in a car all of its life.

.... My question:

The person selling the ipod says there is a problem with it:

It shows a folder on the screen with a ! on it.

Does anyone know is it possible to fix this?

That way..... Id be scoring a really cheap iPod!

Restoring it will probably fix it.. buy it.. if you can not get it to work you can always throw it on ebay.

Yea doing a RESET on the ipod, with restoring factory software does it. same problem happened to mine, they tried to FORMAT it via windows. not by the Apple Software. Should be ABSOLUTLY no problem with the ipod. if u get a good deal on it Deffinatly buy it!
