My nano was completly out of batteries. Plugged it in and it started beeping. It held the do not disconnect screen for about 10 seconds and then it changed to the screen that was just the battery charging and it froze there. is this something I should be concerned about?

Probably not, but if you ever experience iPod software issues, here are 2 little tips:
1. Hold down the menu and centre button together for around 10 seconds. This will reboot the iPod's software.

2. If 1. didn't fix the issue you're having, use the iPod software update program that came with it to restore your iPod. This will put a fresh copy of the software on the iPod. WARNING: THIS WILL DELETE ALL CONTENT ON YOUR iPOD.
