can any one help me please, my i pod doesnt seem to work when i put it in my dock[no sound] it plays ok with my headphones attached but not in dock, you can see that its playing but no sound comes out of dock, is it some thing to do with the settings on the i pod, i would be very grateful for any help, thanks

its an i pod touch mate and the sound works ok on the i pod and when you have the head phones in, but when you place it in the dock it actually stops playing and theres no sound at all

It would seem that something is awry with the Dock, but unfortunately since we don't know anything about it (brand, make, model, etc), it's going to be next to impossible to troubleshoot.

Nor have you managed to yet tell us what the dock is CONNECTED TO.

You (the generic "you" as in all people who ask these questions, not you specifically) have to remember that we haven't seen your setup, and can't see it now. You have to describe VERY SPECIFICALLY what you have (models and versions!) for us to best help you.
