New IpodTouch and disk mode apps

Is it true that the new, or any, itouch (I'm thinking of getting 16gig) will not supprt disk mode? Is there a legal app to enable this? I use my g5ipod to cart around .psd and raw image files for work...so handy. I can't believe there's no way to do this with an itouch. So, can it be done legally?
