replacing iphone 4 camera with 4s parts?

Can I buy the 4s 8 meg camera and replace the 5 meg in my iphone 4?

Assuming they are they same size I don't see why not? The resolution would be killer.

It would probably much easier just to buy an iPhone 4s than to risk destroying your current iPhone 4.

Besides, with the 4s you get to have Siri! ;D

I have taken my 4 apart numerous times to fixed a cracked screen. I think I can handle the camera ;D

The logic board on the 4 and 4S are different. I haven't done it myself, but I would put a lot of money on "No." Though the two pieces from just a straight visual standpoint do look REALLY similar.

The camera part is of a substantially different construction so I really don't think it will be practical (maybe even not possible) to accomplish this.
