I bought an iphone last week and decided to go for the slider case. It says clearly in the description "dockable while in case". I bought a dock along with the case, and found that no way was it fitting in there! The iphone is already tight enough on the dock as it is without the case. Sliding the bottom off every time to dock is very uncomfortable since the case has quite a tight grip. Am i misinformed here, and "dockable while in case" actually means, "dockable while in half of the case"??

If this is the case, can i return the case or the dock? I bought it from the apple store online. Also, i noticed the slider doesn't include a screen protector... I'm starting to feel like i got ripped off! Seems pricy for what its turned out to be.

Are you that annoyed at having to remove the bottom everytime?

I mean yea it was pricey (£24.99 in the UK) but at the end of the day its promary function is protection. I havent dropped mine since I slipped it on, but i'd hope it would hold up its end of the deal..

As far as refunds go, im not sure.. Your best bet is to try to return whichever item you bought most recently I imagine..

Cheers,
Lew.

I used the incase slider until i went to the power slider and dock it in the case every night. It docks with any aftermarket dock just dont put in the adapter ! Also works great in the apple uni dock no problems.

As far as the screen protector... exactly what made you think it came with one ? Go get the invisasheild and you are set .

I have had the slider on both of my iPhones org and 3g and cant say enough good things about them

I found out the apple store docks have a tighter fit. So what im going to do is return the dock to apple and then buy one at a local store. They still have the "old" ones, which fit much better!

What made me think it had a screen protector was that the description said something that made it seem like it did. I asked the rest of my family and it fooled them too... but im very happy with the case overall. Its great! :D - thanks for the replies!
