    Controling iPhone from Mac
Im just wondering if it is possible to controle my iPhone with my mac (using the keyboard and mouse) while the iPhone is connected to the computer with the USB cable.

What I would like to be able to do is send and read SMS messages through my iPhone using my mac so i can take advantage of the keyboard when im at home.

Is there any such app that will do this?

    thanks

With the USB cable attached? No. Wirelessly? If you've jailbroken your iPhone, YES! Via Cydia, you can get a VNC server that will allow you to do exactly all that. Or a client to do the opposite... control your Mac with your iPhone. Be aware that this is not a speedy connection and you will see a bit of lag.

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).

Nope, just a few clients. I wouldn't expect that to ever change, given how tight-fisted Apple is being with the iPhone.
