So I work at an Apple retailer and I'm planning on getting a 128 Mini 2 we have here but I don't know what to do about a case.

So I really like the way glass protectors feel, like there is nothing there, vs the squishy sticky plastic ones.

If I get a otter box or life proof fre case they come with a crappy plastic protector. If I get the nuud then my screen isn't protected.

And every other case has a dumb flippy thingy, I don't want a flippy flap I'm just going to use it as an iPod basically and I don't want it break sliding around in my car or using it to record something or if it falls off a mount or something.

So it there a protector mad for the nuud cases or maybe another case that would work with a glass protector? If not I might just get the fre and deal with the squishy draggy screen.

I can't find anything like you are wanting. What about buying the case you like and then purchase the glass protector separate? You have listed several cases that are nice. Add the glass screen protector you like to it. They are very thin and I am betting it would fit in the case you selected.

You think a life proof nuud would go on over a glass protector? I did find a company that use to make nuud specific glass protectors but the only product I could find was for an iPhone 5...

Nuud's are suppose to maintain water proofness over zagg products but I don't think that includes the glass ones. I don't need it water proof I just don't want the protector cracking from the case or the case buckling like I have seen some otterbox defender's do over glass protectors on phones.

I am not sure if the Nuud's will. With the waterproof feature it may fit too tight.

I tend to be a minimalist when it comes to cases. My case is a Orgami Roocase with a "flippy thingy". I quit using screen protectors when Zagg charged me postage almost equal to the cost of a new screen protector to replace the one that failed. It had absorbed the color of the black carrying case and made the screen look dull to the point I thought the tablet screen was dying. That ended my screen protector days. I have found that screen glass has gotten so much better and I have yet to scratch my mini, iPhone or iPad.

One idea is if it doesn't fit you can send it back. A bit of a pain but if it works your good to go and if not...

Thats why I want a glass protector, and the prices are astronomical but I work at an apple retailer and can get a $60 protector for like $20. On one hand I do think protectors are a scam but after like 6 months the screen gets these little micro scratches in them, like a razer one cut it but pocket lint will scratch it?

I pocket carry my iPhone 6 all the time. I sat down with a magnifying glass and I can't see a thing. No scratches. There could be micro scratches but with my old eyes I really don't care. My case does have a flip cover that has very soft suede. Seems to protect the screen well.

Try the Nuud and glass screen protector. You can return the Nuud if it doesn't work and then try an otterbox or some other case.
