    Try before purchase
    Is there any way to try an App before you buy?

    Some provide for a free trial, some do not.
    Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

    It's not really a problem. Many apps have a "free" or "freemium" version. Should you happen to buy an app that doesn't have either of these and decide you don't like it, contact Apple and ask for a refund. They are generally fine with that unless you are constantly abusing the privilege.
