I bought my ipad and case for 829+69+tax=951.88 I just checked my order status and it says I paid 829+69=898 I checked my bank and sure enough two charges for 829 and 69 no tax on either. Has this happend to anyone else? It's like getting the smart cover free.

Sign up for a photobucket account or similar account. Copy image code and post it as you just did. When you copy/paste, make sure you delete the " before and after your image's URL. Mac-Forums will automatically add that part necessary to post the image.

I thought about that. The only reason I didn't think that was it for sure is that they sell them to best buy,SAMs,walmart, and AT&T. So I wasn't sure thanks for your input.

Not sure how all that plays out. We don't have an Apple Store in Arkansas, but when I challenged Apple sales on having to pay tax (a few years ago) they said Apple Educational sales count as well for establishing sales tax requirement.
Maybe things have changed. I will definitely bring it up at my next purchase.
I've always wanted to be smart, handsome and modest. But, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with two out of three . . .
