Maybe the OP is talking about an OS upgrade for the iPad...not to be confused with the recently released OS update for Mac computers (10.6.5). This also assumes that the OP's question is in the correct sub-forum.

It has been delayed. There has been an update to the iOS 4.2GM that supposedly fixes a WiFi bug.
