    New feature for iOS?
Someone posted this link on another forum I frequent, https://techcrunch.com/2018/05/08/io...ed-for-a-week/. I happen to think this is a good feature, for security purposes. It kind of makes the iPhone, almost, not worth stealing.

    What do you think?

Please backup. Everything has a life cycle, unexpected and warning free. Nothing will last as long as you want it to.

At first glance, I like this idea.

Yeah, I saw that earlier when I was browsing MacRumors. One fellow posted that it had already been cracked and that Apple will have to do more.

If any of you ever read "Mad" comics, they used to run a small strip called "Spy vs Spy". Was always interesting to see what one spy was doing to get on the other spy and how then the other spy would get even. It would go on for "Ad infinitum". (For you Latin experts.)

I've always looked at this from a burglar alarm/safe point of view: If one person can build such devices/techniques, someone else can break, crack, or bypass them. The Spy v. Spy analogy is more fun though.

@Charlie Thanks for the Spy v. Spy reference. Not being a big Mad reader back in the day, I had forgotten Spy v. Spy was part of the Mad franchise.

I definitely enjoyed that section and it still seems to apply these days.
