    Specs:
    iMac OS X 10.10.1; iPad2 (8.1.2-12B440); New iPad; MS-Office for Mac 2011 (14.4.7)
    Notifications/Alerts for e-mail
On my iPad, I use the App for my Gmail account.
Up to some time ago, whenever I received an incoming mail,
I got a notification, either a banner or a sound alert.

Suddenly, these notifications have stopped I do not get anything...

In my iPad, the following settings are set for the Gmail App, Version 2.3:

    1) “Do not disturb" is "OFF”

    2) In "Notification" > Gmail “Notification Center" is ON
"Alert Style" is set either to “Banners” or “Alerts”
    "Badge App Icon" is ON
    "Sounds" is ON
"View in Lock Screen" is ON

    3) “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” > Google Mail > ”Mail” is ON

How can I get my Alerts back?

    Specs:
    27" iMac i7 (2011) 10.10, iPhone6, iPad Air 2, AppleTV2
I'd start by deleting the app. Hard reset the phone (holding sleep&home till it reboots) then reinstall the app.

It's an iPad, not an iPhone...
