book collectors app

What is the best app for book collectors? Looking for something that can be used on an IMac with a database and be accessed by iPhone. Data entry by iPhone would be great. Most importantly is the ability to find if I have a book while in a book store.

Don't know about "best" but Books by Hooked in Motion works, but not as well as their Movie APP. You can scan barcodes using your iPhone camera for data entry.

All in all not great because its a bit buggy, but it does work (mostly).

I'm not finding Delicious Library when I search the IOS APP store. Are they using some alternative spelling on the name?

OK, I see, they don't have an IOS APP available at this time. Too bad, looks pretty good otherwise.

Yeah as I understand it, it's only available on OSX - In which case, this isn't suitable for what the OP wants as they want iPhone interaction. Whoops.

WARNING: RANT AHEAD

This internecine bickering between companies is really starting to annoy me. Amazon at the moment is offering Dilbert collections in eBook form at a very attractive price, but they are only available on Kindle Fire.

I know of no reason they should not be supportable on the iPad as well, and I have complained to that effect.

Competition is a great thing, but I hate to see it hinder rather than encourage the availability of great products.
