    Specs:
    2012 13" MBP (2.5 i5, 8GB)
Here you go: AppleInsider | Apple posts iPhone OS 3.1 beta, SDK with new video extensions

I'm sure 3.1 is a ways out yet. They just released 3.0.

EDIT: That source was for Kash (somehow this post went back in time).

That's ok, looks like vansmith provided a valid source. Let's hope they fix the performance issues that 3.0 has with the 3G

I have the 3GS and what I can tell there is no difference other than my mms options showing. It is still locked by AT&T though.
You can now crop you vids and save over or save new.
Vibrate works when you move icons now.
For the 3G I hope they fix those problems as well

I imagine there won't be any performance issues for the 3GS. I'm referring to the 3G. It seems as though 3.0 is a bit laggy on the slower hardware in areas where 2.0 was quite snappy, such as bringing up the iPod HUD and switching songs when using another program.

I hope they make the portrait to landscape keyboard transition a LOT quicker.

They did update the base band and modem so it might remedy the connectivity issues. I wish I still had my 3G for you guys.

On the forums they said that the 3G with OS3.1 is snappier, and more responsive in beta. There is a new modem firmware, and 3G signal/speed has somewhat improved in most cases.
