I got a free iPod Touch with my new MBP upgrade. I have now upgraded it to the 2.0 firmware for $9.95. I am now getting an iPhone and I would like to sell my iPod Touch on ebay, will the 2.0 software transfer over, or will the new owner of it have to buy the 2.0 software upgrade?

Also, does anyone want to buy the iPod Touch? I am hoping for maybe $250.00.

I think if you buy the New 3G iPhone. It already comes with 2.0 software on it since it is new/

I know it is new, I was wondering if I can transfer the iPod Touch 2.0 purchase to a new owner of the iPod Touch!

I couldn't find a way to transfer over the additional apps for the iPod touch 1.x. I ended up refunding the guy I bought it to the price of the apps because I assumed they would still be on there after I deleted my music, oops.

it should transfer as long as your loged on with the tunes acount that you bought it with
