Hey everyone,

Here's my dilema, my work uses AT&T Network Client to VPN in. Although there is one for the Mac, it's old and doesn't work and only has dialup anyway. There's a help thing on my work's forums where someone said you can use the program Proxy+ and run it on a Windows PC on your network. You then basically turn on http for port 4480 and so on. It says the idea behind it is once you do that, you create a new connection in system preferences and enable proxy. You then use the Windows PC's iP for the proxy server, and the port number set in Proxy+.

When I do this, I can connect to the net and everything is fine. However, as soon as I VPN in with AT&T Network Client, my whole Mac's internet connection stops. I'm not sure how to fix this or if it's even possible, but the fact that in my work's forums someone posted saying to remotely connect with a Mac you can do that. They even said you can use PArallels and have it run Proxy+.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong or what I could try? Does anyone also even know any other options for VPNing in on a PC and sharing that connection with a Mac? I know the idea behind VPN is that you shouldn't be able to do that, but the fact in the help forums it says use proxy+ and create a proxy server on the PC to do it makes me think you can. Thanks!
