Looking for advice. I'm with a volunteer organization in Eastern Europe. I'm coming to the US and will buy the current low-end Mac Mini for office desktop use. Most of us in the office have Mac laptops, newer models, and there are one or two PC users. I want to set up the Mac Mini with an external hard drive, which would serve as a Time Machine backup for the Mini, but which could also be partitioned to serve as a wireless network backup device for several, or all, of the laptops.
I'm looking for any and all advice...which brand external drive to get, whether or not this is a hair-brained concept, how to set it up easily and effectively, etc. Thanks, in advance, for any help on the issue!
