Hey all,
I am trying to print from my Win 7 laptop to my HP officejet which is connected to my iMac. I can share files just fine between the Mac and PC, and my laptop also sees the printer and even lets me edit its properties. However, when I go to print, it just doesn't do anything. It's an HP 4215 and I have the driver for OSX installed on Mac, and also the 4200 series driver installed on my laptop. Any ideas?

Thanks

Try hooking it directly to the PC and update the drivers if you have not already.

I know you said you have the drivers installed on your HP, but did you use the install disc on your HP that came with your printer? Usually, you have to install the printer on each computer that you use it with. Not just point to it in the directory and install the drivers.

Ah, well unfortunately my mac won't read the install disc for some reason. Any other ideas?
