Airport on MBP not configured

I mistakingly removed my airport in the network settings area and now cannot reconfigure my airport. {Please advise what I am doing wrong. Using it with an airport express

One way is use Time Machine and restore and the other is use the disk that came with
the AE. and reinstall.

what do you mean when you say you removed your airport? by clicking the minus sign in the bottom? just click the plus sign again :)

I don't have my Mac atm (gone for repairs, fingers crossed warranty will cover it) so I can't check it out and give you specific help, but by using the plus sign under your network adapters, you should be able to add your airport again
