Have a home network on a Netgear 4-port router. On cable. New cable modem installed a few weeks ago, working perfectly.
Decided to give OpenDNS a go, so reset to their DNSs. At one stage after the change, I could access the router utility under 192.168.0.1, but recall it having some other characters at the end, like 'forms', or similar. Had, I thought, saved that to Bookmarks, but now can't get back into the router admin utility, which I would need to do if I needed to change back.
I could probably reset via Network Utility, not sure, someone may know; but doesn't feel good being locked out at this stage.
Certainly getting timeouts on 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1.
192.168.0.1 Pings OK, and is showing as the router IP.
My (tech) level is relatively low, but am happy to move outside the comfort zone.
Oh, 10.6, Mac Mini Intel. All Macs on network accessing 'net, no trouble...I just don't like being 'locked out'.

It will help if you can give us the model of the Netgear router also. I have manuals on many and will look it up.

Couldn't remember before, (am at work right now), but did a search, and it's FR114P.
    Many thanks.

Oh dear, how embarrassment, Effie. If in doubt, restart the router, after leaving a few minutes.
    Thanks for the early look-in.

Seems also that I need to log out each time...from the utility, I guess. It doesn't like 're-visits' without doing this. Otherwise it would be a router re-start each time.
