I have 4 laptops connected to a Time Capsule; 2 iBook G4s and 2 MacBook Pros. All used to see the Time Capsule just fine but 1 of the iBooks suddenly stopped recognizing it. It sees the wireless & can connect to the internet just fine, just cannot see the TC nor any of the other wireless devices (3 AEs). When I run the Airport Utility, it give me the "airport utility can't find wireless devices" error message." I can manually enter the IP address of the TC and it sees it, but won't allow a connection. I've tried unplugging it as well as all of the other wireless devices. I have not tried a reset to factory settings for fear of jacking up the three working connections.

Any thoughts?

I don't know if this will help you but when AE Utility could not find my AE I changed the radio mode and it eventually found it. I had to use 802.11n only (5 GHz) or the 802.11n (a compatible) mode. After I changed it from the default 802.11n (b/g compatible) mode it worked fine.

I have no idea why and if this is wrong I would like to know. I want to connect an older pc with an 802.11n b/g card that currently won't work because of the radio mode.

Good luck.
