Little Snitch deleted but OS X is looking for it ?
I was just looking at my firewall log and the console out of general curiosity, and in the console, I found lines and lines of this (it's from today, but the date is messed up) :

    7/29/09 9:14:49 AM Tuesday July 21, 2009 com.apple.launchd[73] (at.obdev.LittleSnitchUIAgent[733]) posix_spawnp("/Library/Little Snitch/Little Snitch UIAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/Little Snitch UIAgent", ...): No such file or directory 7/29/09 9:14:54 AM

    Tuesday July 21, 2009 com.apple.launchd[1] (at.obdev.littlesnitchd[734]) Exited with exit code: 1 7/29/09 9:14:54 AM

Tuesday July 21, 2009 com.apple.launchd[1] (at.obdev.littlesnitchd) Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds

I've searched my computer w/Spotlight and can't find a trace of Little Snitch. Why would these things appear ?

    Specs:
    15" MBP '06 2.33 C2D 4GB 10.7; 13" MBA '11 1.8 i7 4GB 10.10; 21" iMac '13 2.9 i5 8GB 10.10; 5s & 5c
Not at my Mac right now.

But, I believe Little Snitch comes as a .pkg - e.g. it has it's own installer because it does wrap itself around (or modify) some system files. Has to because of what it does.

If you just dragged it to the trash when you uninstalled it, you'll need to reinstall and use it's uninstaller to remove it.
I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

"Little Snitch" may still be listed in your startup sequence. Open System Preferences, Accounts, Login Items, and see if it's listed there. If it is, remove it.

Also look in /Library/StartupItems/ to see if it's there. Again, if it shows up, remove the entire folder.

    Regards.
