is there smoething i am missing? i have had laptops for years but recentyl switched to macs. for some reason my macbook and my wifes macbook hang on website rendering / loading. this did not happen with pc's. dont get me wrong i am not baching mac or clapping for pc but i would just like my macbook (aluminum silver) to be faster on internet browsing and dont understand why iy would be slow. it is worse than my old dsl and rivals dial up to be honest. can i help this in any way?

Need info. Such as what router are you using - are you wired or wireless - if wireless, is it a 'g' or 'n' network - what have you done - etc. We understand you may not know where or how to find all the info that is needed, but give us what you do know. We're shooting in the dark without some info.
If wireless, one of the easiest is to change the channel of the network as you may be using the same channel as a neighbor or some other interference.
