There are several Windows programs available which supposedly will "spoof" your IP address or as you say, re-direct your access from another location. Don't rely on them though - authorities can easily "see" through them and locate the original sender.

So to answer your question, no, I don't know of any OS X program which can do the same thing and even if there were one, it probably wouldn't work to keep your surfing IP address hidden.

Regards.

Neither of those are "fool proof". Be especially aware of the warnings that are given by Tor. If you're into doing something on the net that is shady, they (meaning the authorities) can and will locate you regardless of IP address spoofing.

Oh of course.

The OP asked for how to mask (or "redirect") their traffic and that's what a proxy server basically does. The OP never really asked to do shady stuff and that's not the only reason proxys are used.

Not going to get into discussion about illegal activity but using a proxy in North Korea or China where logs are more likely to be unkept and even if they were a Subpoena authorities would have a harder time getting requested information. :p
