how to save network specific settings like manual ip and proxies

hello. i use my macbook at two places both with wifi network. at one place there is automatic ip without proxy settings and at another place there is static ip with certain proxy settings. now both networks are saved in my mac. i want that when the n/w are switched automatically the settings change too. i noticed that as of now i have to maually change the ip to 'maunal' from 'automatic' and other way round and have to manually change the proxy settings. any workaround?
