Okay, I'm in a three story house. On the middle floor, there is a wireless router. My room is in the basement, and I get bad signal because Wi-Fi doesn't really go up and down so much as side to side.

I have an extra router, is it possible to hook it up downstairs and get a full signal there?

How do I do it? There isn't an Ethernet port down here.

    What router do you have?
You may be able to use it as a bridge (access point) using DD-WRT. (if your router doesn't already support it)

    An idea of how to.

Both of those links seem to be over my head. I'm really not very good at internet stuff.

I've never done it myself, but others have done it. See if you can get the manual for the one you have.
