Hi. I hope somebody can help a beginner like me.:)

I am currently using DSL internet connection (1mb speed). I want to set up a wireless lan in my home and I found that the new airpot express base station 802.11n can give 5x faster performance.

Does this mean that my DSL speed will go up using airport?

No. Your connection speed from your ISP will not change.

They are talking about 5x faster than 802.11g. Remember though that is under ideal conditions.

Your ISP is what determines your speed on the internet. No router can make that any faster like DB said.
