Your Mac's Specs
MacBook(3,1): C2D 2.2ghz, 4g RAM, 10.7.5; iMac(12,1): 2.5ghz i5, 16gb RAM, 10.9.1; iPhone5S iOS7.04
All of a sudden, if my wife tries to copy something from my MacBook to her XP laptop or tower, it won't let her. She can't view the files, she can't play the files, she can't copy 'em, etc. She can only get a list of the files. If she tries to access the files in any way, she gets an error saying the files may be in use or restricted...this just started happening right now. Never had this problem before.

What should I check for? The network is wireless over a Linksys router.

Also -- I can go the OTHER way -- I can access stuff on the XP machines via my Mac, including making changes on the XP machine, copying things from my Mac to XP, etc.
