acrobat pro 8.0 problem

Have you tried launching another app in the suite first, like the message suggests?

I don't suppose you recently upgraded to CreativeSuite 3 did you? If so, this is normal if you already had Acrobat 8 from CS2 installed. Some components were updated and the new software needs to activate - even though you already had Acrobat installed.

If this is not the case, then I would say you should delete Acrobat 8 and reinstall it - or at the very least, check to see if there are updates available.

Yes I did upgrade to CS3, and have reinstalled the software as well, and check if there are updates (no updates)
