Never tried it but they have been around for a little while, BeLight Software. They have a few apps for composing, printing, drawing logos...

I do mine in InDesign and print from PDF (although I take them to a professional lithographer).

Illustrator/Quark or InDesign are the professional apps. But any Word processor such as Word or NeoOffice will do.

If you're taking it to a professional printer, you'll need ticks and bleed though and be better off sending as a PDF.

For low volume cards Pages as part of iWork 09 does a good job. Did mine on 200 gsm paper and they are quite satisfactory without having to shell out the $39 for BCC.

    Specs:
    Mid-2012 MBP (16GB, 1TB HD), Monoprice 24-inch second monitor, iPhone 5s 32GB, iPad Air 2 64GB
BCC would be my first choice, but Pages does a beautiful job as well.

Advice: get them professionally printed. Inkjet business cards are the international sign of a rank amateur (or terrible cheapskate, neither of which I want to do business with!).
