Just a quick question. When I have a bunch of pictures and I'am looking at them in a folder how do I get it so I can see each picture one by one. Like in windows ?

Highlight the pics you want to view and click on Command+O or just double-click on any highlighted pic. This opens the group in Preview and you can use the up/down arrows to view each pic.

Didn't know about that one....I tried it and there was one icon which wouldn't convert to a thumbnail when the other recalcitrants had.

Earlier I had downloaded a free app which has add thumbnail via Control/right-click in the contextual menu, called QuickImage, which brought the rogue jpeg file into line quick smart!
