Hi, This is EricRayn, I am Professional Creative Graphic Designer and work for my own Company. Photography is my hobby.
Actually, Nowadays I want to do fond of wildlife photography. As a starter, I am a little bit confused on selecting between spotting scope or zoom lance.

If you want to take pictures you need a camera with a good zoom lens, not a scope. Depends on budget and whether you want to go down the road of a DSLR with interchangeable lenses which can be heavy & expensive, or a bridge camera with a superzoom.

I use a Panasonic Superzoom FZ330 (FZ300 in US) which can achieve 1200mm zoom on some settings, but also does close-ups down to 2cm. Been there, done that with heavy equipment but it's personal preference. You should also invest in a sturdy tripod for wildlife shots, especially if you are going to use a hide or viewing area. Some favourite shots from a Scottish wildlife photography trip in 2105 when I had a Lumix FZ45. Red squirrel crested ***, barn owl.

ROFL - forum doesn't like the name of the bird and won't let me do a hyperlink either! It's Latin name is Lophophanes cristatus.

If the shoe fits, buy it in every colour.

The last time I used a scope it was mounted on a rifle, and that was 30+ years before they even had computers that were needed to create the design for such lenses as you're now using.

That Panasonic Superzoom FZ330 lens appears to be quite the lens if you like to check this out!!!
