Creating wallpaper in Pixelmator

I'm working on custom wallpaper that interacts with the UI in iOS using color, notably the dock and folders.

What dimensions are app icons (including spaces between them) in iOS and what are the dimensions of the dock in iOS?

I'm creating wallpaper for my iPad Air 2 and my iPhone 6, I have templates already created, with the proper PPI (pixels per inch)...I've already searched online, can't seem to find anything about the pixel dimensions.

I can't find a source that details this. I can only suggest downloading one of the hundreds (thousands?) of wallpapers designed for iOS to use shelves and/or icon frames and extrapolate from those. I think a couple of the apps that offer these have templates as well for making your own.

Be aware that you can't really use shelves/frames like this on an iPad unless you are specifically targeting either the horizontal or vertical orientation. If you rotate the iPad, the dimensions change and shelves/frames for icons don't line up right.
