    how can i stop iphoto autorunning?
    when ever i plug in my camera via usb, iphoto starts up automatically asking me if i want to import.

    can i stop this?

    if so, how?

    I think you have to go to image capture (applications) and play around in the preferences there, you can use that to import rather than iPhoto, or maybe make nothing happen

    Yes it is image capture preference, that you set which application is used when a digital camera is connected.
