I am starting Aperture. I already had all my photos in iPhoto. They are a LOT OF PHOTOS. I am importing the iPhotos into my new Aperture. Where do I go to delete my old iPhoto library? I don't want duplicates.
Thanks

For iPhoto 11 you can trash the item named iPhoto Library in the Pictures item of the Finder's sidebar, or launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new library.

Of course make sure all your photos have been transferred over to the new Aperture library first.

Thanks. I imported all my photos into my Aperture library. I deleted my iPhotos library. Oddly enough, it still says iPhoto Library in my Aperture! Is that normal? Should I rename it?

Also, can I do all the things with Aperture that I did with iPhoto? I would like to upload my photos to Facebook. I see the Facebook logo but it does not allow me to do anything. I also see the same Face Place options in Aperture that iphoto had. Can I make my PhotoBooth export to Aperture like it did for iphoto?

And why does it say iPhoto Original on the bottom left of the photos when I imported those photos into Aperture and deleted the iPhoto library?

Thanks
