    how do i leave the disc appendable within iPhoto?

    mid'09 MBP; 2.53GHz; 8GB RAM; OS X 10.8.2 | 2G iPod Touch 32GB | iPhone 5 iOS 7.1 16GB | iPad Air
    Question how do i leave the disc appendable within iPhoto?
    the option is there when I select share > burn, but there's no way to use it?

    edit: found the answer within apple support. i'd never guess it just isn't available.

    Specs:
    2010 Macbook Pro, 8g RAM, iPhone 6, iPad Mini, Apple TV
    As faras I know, the "burn" feature in iPhoto is simply for backing up and the like. It leaves the file in a format only iPhoto can read, so it is not meant for sharing your photos. Try disk utility, or maybe Toast or similar. Can probably make an appendable disk that way.
