parallels question
Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a macbook pro. And I still want to use windows and the apps I have for it, so I want to use parallels, my question is, if I give windows x amount of ram, does mac osx lose that amount of memory permanently or only when windows is running? I'm thinking of getting a mac book pro with 2gb of ram.

Only when the Windows VM is running.

And as an aside, check out VMWare before you buy Parallels - I'm getting more and more problems with Parallels that don't happen with Fusion Beta.
