Hello everyone! I have a quick question. I want to install Windows 7 on my late 2008 macbook, but I have 4 GB's of RAM on my computer. Currently I am running Windows XP 32-bit. I would like to run a 64-bit version because I would like to at some point down the road expand my RAM once again. Will boot camp support 64-bit? and I am currently running 10.6.1

Yes it will, with Windows 7.

Although you may encounter a sound issue.
It's there, only very soft.

I'm using an external speakerset, so that takes care of it for me.
If you don't have that option, visit the realtek site for drivers.

This will get you further on the way, I hope

I'm afraid you are out of luck unfortunately if you want to install the 64 bit version on a Macbook. There are currently only a few Macs that will support Windows 64 bit and these are all fairly recent 'Pro' models only.

These Mac computers can use 64-bit editions of Windows:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009)
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Early 2008) and later
MacBook Pro (17-inch, Early 2008) and later
Mac Pro (Early 2008) and later
