Windows - Which partition

okay so i dont even know where to begin looking. but i started using bootcamp on my macbook. i partitioned 50 gb for windows. I started the installer and put the xp disk in. It starts the set up and then i need to click which partition to install to.

this is the problem only one partition comes up. its C:________ [unknown]

dont remember the blank part. no other things are listed like the instructions.

none that say bootcamp or free or anything.

i tried restarting the bootcamp partition help and deleted the partition and remade one but it didnt help..

anyone help please for a new guy.

The partition should have been listed as drive c "boot camp". Also since you created a 50 GB partition it would have to be formatted as NTFS.

I always ask... Are you using a version of XP that is compatible with Boot Camp? Has to be either a genuine MS boxed full install XP SP2 or 3 of Home|Pro or a System Builders full install XP SP2 or 3 of Home|Pro.

Regards.
