Linux - Linux on my Powerbook G4

Alrighty. So I want to install Linux on my Powerbook G4 (1.5GHZ, 15", aluminum), mostly for tinkering and various linux-only tools. I want to install Yellow Dog Linux or Debian for PowerPC. Are there any other Linux distros that run well on PPC and does anyone know where I can download a copy of Yellow Dog Linux 6.2 (not the one for PS3!)? So I want to dual boot it with Mac OSX 10.5.6 on another partition. I have an 80GB HD and I wil probably leave about 5GB for Linux, as I won't be putting much on it. So, I just want to know if anyone has any experience with installing either of these distros on this or a similar mac via a seperate partition on the same drive, and any advice anyone has to offer?
-thx

Would you suggest Ubuntu, Debian or I find a copy of yellow dog somewhere from your experience? how did ubuntu work out? did sound/gfx/modem/wifi work?
and did you install it on a partition (dual boot)?

If you want to go the Linux way, SUSE 11.1 has a PPC version Software.openSUSE.org or POWER@SUSE - openSUSE to examine any issues related to installing on Apple machines

Hope this helps

Cheers

I would go for Ubuntu or OpenSUSE, they are the easiest.

I have Ubuntu installed in a G4 Sawtooth. Works great. Highly recommended.
