MacBook Pro - Can I have XP and Linux on my mac?

Along with Leopard of course. I was wondering if I can have another partition in order to download Linux on my mac with BootCamp.

Thanks!

Using refit, it is possible. It is a little tricky though, especially if you decide that you want to remove the linux partition later.

SammySlim will become famous soon enough
You can also run Linux very easily in a Fusion or Parallels virtual machine. That would be very simple.

Cheers

Are you able to install a second virtual machine in Fusion? I just installed Windows XP Pro - may want to try another operating system, like Linux.

Yes, provided of course you have enough disk space. Be sure to check the Fusion pre-configured virtual machines known as "Virtual Appliances".

Virtual Appliance Marketplace, Virtual Appliances, VMware Appliance - VMware

You can install numerous virtual machines on your mac - whether you can run more than 1 or 2 of them simultaneously, however, depends on your RAM.

Cheers
