Please note I am guessing here: To me it sounds like a path problem. The path of the requested file maybe in a different location on the mac, whereas the pc may seen it at another location. Even thou the basic path on the cd is the same.

I don't think the Mac will read this:

FOLDER_CARD_FRONTS\index.htm

…with the back slash. Try a forward slash.
However, the PC may not read that…

not much help, sorry…
