I used to use Textpad on my PCs and am very happy with the performance of jEdit on my G5. What else is out there?

No, it doesn't. However, it's the text editor for the mac. Find and replace in multiple files is very handy. If you're on a budget, HyperEdit is decent too - it's got a live preview pane that supports PHP.

I'm in your forums, writing sentences in a grammatically acceptable manner.

I'm a recent Switcher and I'm looking for good "budget" or freeware HTML editors. I'm used to using Dreamweaver 4.0 and FirstPage 2000 for PC's. HyperEdit looks pretty good, I'll give it a try.

Does anyone else want to recommend other editors they use or know about? If so, I'd love to hear about them.

Thanks!
