Pretty sure CSS should be styling them with the exact code. Can you bring up the same text box in FF on a mac and a PC and show they are different? I have had no problems styling my own in the past..

For example open my contact form in FF and Safari http://jakenoblewebs.co.uk/contact.php On my machine it styles the inputs in FF, but in Safari they are just white. Jake |

For me, both Safari and FF display www.google.com as a plain white textbox with that ugly beveled effect.
On Windows, that box has a 1px light blue border and no bevel. |
