    How do I set up a server that I can access from an FTP client?

    First of all you need to purchase a hosting plan with a company like JodoHost or 1and1 Internet. Once your hosting account is set up, you can log into the control panel and add FTP users.


    Did you buy a server and are housing it yourself? If so, Is it Windows or Linux/Unix?
