Hey guys,
I've been trying to create my own forums using PHP and vBulletin but I am unable to use them in mac. I think they're windows programs/installers.

Could someone point me in the direction of some Mac versions of PHP or vBulletin. Or suggest some others.

Thanks,
Sam.

what is your host? if you're using dream host you can get a phpBB site up in less than 10 minutes by just clicking install in the "goodies" section.. there may be something like that at your host if you are using something other than dreamhost

Did you go to either of the home pages for each of those? They're not really OS dependent software in the traditional sense. I have phpBB installed on one of my sites and it functions without a problem. I use my MBP to administer it some times as well.

I think you have this forum thing all wrong.

When you download a forum software (either free or paid) they give you tons of files in different folders. It's usually in a compressed folder that you uncompress and then upload the contents to a web server.

There are no such things as a Mac PHP or Mac vBulletin.
