Can anyone tell me how usenet works:
Do I have to pay?, Can I use it on internetcafes? Do I have to have a newsreader (like Unison that I was recommended)? :confused:

If your ISP carries it, usenet is free. If not there are pay servers where you can get it.

You can get newsgroups (usenet) with OutlookExpress or Entourage if you have it, but if you want to download pictures or applications you're better off with a dedicated newsreader like Unison(pay) or MTNewswatcher(free).

Internetcafes: Dont know, ask the cafe if they have it.

usenet is just another protocol like www or ftp or telnet.
