Flash is confusing me

ive tried everything and the flash downloads but once it gets to 4 things left 2 download it its doesnt go further? im confused why doesnt it ever finish downlading? ive had it running for ages and still nothin...please help

Is THIS the flash player your trying to download?

If not where is its source and what program are you using?

I'm trying to teach myself Flash to make some really nice looking sites. I'm having some trouble with tutorials, I just think that I'll never be able to create anything from scratch that looks good, without a tutorial that is.
